Bradley was a staff music critic for The Star-Ledger from 2003 to 2009, covering both classical and pop music in New Jersey and New York. He has written more than 300 weekly columns for the paper, as well as many front-page features. Prior to joining The Star-Ledger, Bradley was the executive editor and then creative director of Andante, a classical music record label/book publisher and pioneering Web magazine. From 1995 to 2001, Bradley was a senior writer and then executive editor with Billboard. While at Billboard, Bradley traveled internationally more than any other previous writer in the magazine's century-long history, writing scene reports from London and Amsterdam to San Francisco and Bloomington, Ind. Bradley's feature writing and criticism have appeared in newspapers across the country, as well as in magazines from Rolling Stone, Stereophile and Revolver to Gramophone, Playbill and Musical America. He has written liner notes to albums on the Columbia/Legacy, Deutsche Grammophon, Sony Classical, RCA Victor, Harmonia Mundi and Excelsior Recordings labels. Born in Columbus, Miss., he was graduated from the University of Missouri's School of Journalism and has lived in New York City since 1992.
