If you’re looking for a little extra cash to help with your Christmas shopping, would $100 million do?

There was no Mega Millions jackpot winner on Tuesday, December 6, so the jackpot now stands at $100 million for Friday’s drawing. The cash option payout will be an estimated $73.3 million.

According to gather.com, ten players matched five of the six winning numbers, but not the Mega ball to win $250,000 each, none of them being from New Jersey.

Lottery.com reported that two players from New Jersey each won $10,000 in the December 2 Mega Millions drawing. Also, two Jersey Cash 5 tickets sold in Camden and Ocean County split a $614,894 prize for the drawing of December 4, according to lottery.com. The Camden County ticket was purchased at a Shoprite in Cherry Hill, while the Ocean County ticket came from Pine Bay Liquors in Little Egg Harbor.

And philly.com reports that a player from nearby Center City Philadelphia has just won $1.23 million before taxes from the purchase of a Match 6 Lotto ticket.

So some people are receiving some extra holiday cheer. And just for fun, The Denver Post calculated how many items of the “Twelve Days of Christmas” lyrics a $100 million Mega Millions winner could buy.
