Share on Facebook! The Powerball lottery has just hit the next level. Again.

Powerball’s drawing of September 4th was the eighth consecutive game without a grand prize winner following the huge $448 million plus prize was given away last month. Now the jackpot is back on the move.

The estimated grand prize for the Powerball lottery drawing of Saturday, September 7 will be $203 million, according to the Powerball web site. The cash option value for the game will be $115.5 million.

Winning Powerball numbers for Wednesday, September 4 were 2, 9, 26, 45, and 47, and the Powerball was 11. Delaware Online reported that eleven players were able to match the first five numbers correctly without getting the Powerball to win $1 million, none of them coming from New Jersey.

But four New Jersey players won Powerball’s third prize: a tidy $10,000. The New Jersey Lottery web site reports that two of those tickets were sold in Somerset County: at the A & P in Basking Ridge, and at Friendly Foods Co. of Bridgewater. Another winner bought a ticket at Cherry Hill News Shop in Cherry Hill of Camden County, while the other was purchased at Krenkel’s Day-Nite Food Store in Neptune of Monmouth County.

Philly.com reported that a New Jersey player from Middlesex County won $250,000 for matching the first five numbers in the Mega Millions drawing of Tuesday, September 3. That ticket was purchased at JYCD Deli & Grocery in New Brunswick. Middlesex County.

Not that anyone would have a problem with $203 million, but philly.com notes that the last three times the grand prize cleared $200 million, it continued to rise, soaring over $300 million within a week. The results of those jackpots saw August’s $448.4 million winner, the Powerball record of $590.5 in May, and $338.3 million back in March.
