Another Christmas miracle occurred on Friday in Atlantic City. New Jersey's Division of Gaming Enforcement has given the Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City the okay to have a Scores strip club inside its property.

It would mark the first “gentlemen’s club” in Atlantic City in its 33-year gambling history. But the deal comes with limitations.

According to an Associated Press report in the New York Post, the casino regulators said performers will begin the show in evening gowns, and were permitted to strip down only to a G-string and pasties. Lap dances and simulation of sexual acts are prohibited.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that Scores Atlantic City will become the sixth Scores location across the nation. Atlantic City’s operation will be run by Roger Gans, who owns the rights to the Scores name and owns the New York version. Scores first filed with the casino commission at the end of August 2010.

According to Atlantic City Weekly, Scores said they planned to charge "a significant admission fee" and enforce a dress code. They said the club would be would be "richly furnished, first-class, and exceptional."

Scores said its operation would create between 80 and 100 jobs for managers, bartenders and serviceworkers, and about 150 to 200 “independent contractor” jobs for dancers.
