A regular contributor of "Journeys into New Jersey" pieces, Eric has been chronicling places beyond the interstate for almost 25 years. He is founder of "Journeys into", a multi-media platform dedicated to exploring "the offbeat, off the beaten path, overlooked and forgotten."
His explorations — community based-narratives of Americana and Canadiana — have been highlighted in a variety of ways — including a book (Beyond the Interstate: Discovering the Hidden America), a syndicated column ("Around America"), radio features, online services, travel clubs and marketing partnerships with travel related businesses.
These days, Eric is the "on the road" correspondent for a weekly "Journeys into Hidden America" on SIRIUS-XM's weekly program "Left Jab" (SIRIUS-146; XM-167), as well as a circle leader for the National Trust for Historic Preservation's GOZAIC Heritage Travel site. His content is also otherwise available on the web, and via blog and podcast.
Finally, Eric is working with communities and businesses — using these narratives as economic catalysts for community sustainability.
