Skin irritations are so common these days. It seems as if so many people have psoriasis, eczema, rashes and the like. Have we asked ourselves why? Well if you ask me, I would tell you the reason is quite simple. It’s food, baby! Think I might be wrong? Well then, test it out for yourself.

Here is the issue. You might have been living with some kind of skin irritation for years. You are on and off medication. The medication doesn’t help too, too much; sometimes it’s worse than others. Try my way on for size. I am not asking for anything too difficult, I am not asking for a long period of time, it should be easy folks. You have some kind of a skin irritation you would like to get rid of and I think I can fix it.

Juice it up baby! That’s right, my solution is to do a juice detox for just a matter of days. Actually, the amount of time is totally up to you. I personally like to do a five to seven day juicing. You may only wish to do three days. Nevertheless, any amount of time will do wonders for your skin. No need to worry, you will definitely receive all that you need nutritionally from the juicing. Rest assured I do not recommend this as a weight loss method although it is definitely a side effect of the program. I simply recommend the juicing when someone has some issues they are trying to cure quickly.

If you feel as if it will be simply too difficult to drink vegetable and fruit juices for three, five or seven days; here is another recommendation that will work just as well. Become a vegan for seven days which means that you will only be consuming plant based foods; whole grains, legumes, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. This will be your diet for seven days which means absolutely no animal based foods. I know this seems a bit extreme to you but if you have lived with skin irritations for years, can you not try anything for seven days?

This is my advice folks. It may seem extreme to you but what if it cures your skin irritation? It is my humble opinion that if you are suffering with skin irritations you may be consuming foods that are either the cause or the perpetuation of the problem.

I would venture to guess that if you have tremendous issues with your skin you may be eating fast food, junk food or consuming tons of energy and sports drinks. Why not try my method?

Juice for three days or vegan diet for seven days and tons and tons of H2O. The point is that we can get rid of the bad food and we can do it quickly. What do you have to lose?

At three years old my son was 90% covered in what looked like severe burns. We eliminated gluten, soy, milk, and a few other things, and his skin cleared up. It was amazing. I think in most cases food certainly has something to do with it.
