Most people on first dates tend to second guess their choice of outfit or something they said. An unidentified Dover man, known only as “Joel,” was forced to second guess his decision to steal his date’s dog and television. After meeting online, the two went out to dinner on Thursday night. After dinner, the couple went back to the unidentified woman’s house, police said. The woman went to another room, and when she came back, the man was gone along with her Yorkshire terrier and her flat-screen television.
It wasn’t until three nights later that the woman found her dog attached to her television in her front yard at 3 a.m. According to the woman, the television was valued at $3,000 and her dog, Violet, was worth $4,000.
