Bon Jovi will take the stage when Bravo's "Inside The Actors Studio" kicks off its 16th season Nov. 16, the network said Thursday.
Instruments in hand, the New Jersey natives will talk about their 26-year career together, with each band member each discussing their personal struggles along the way and describing how it was the band that ultimately held them together.
Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, David Bryan, and Tico Torres will answer host James Lipton's questions, while also playing a few of their greatest hits from the past three decades.
The appearance is part of Jon Bon Jovi's unique deal to be NBC Universal's first "Artist in Residence." Under the pact, Bon Jovi will appear exclusively on NBC Universal TV outlets for two months to promote "The Circle," the group's new album. The NBCU deal includes appearances on the flagship NBC network and the company's cable networks, including Bravo.Bon Jovi has also announced a new tour, "The Circle World Tour," and the group will be the first band to play at the new Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford next May.
Bon Jovi has sold more than 120 million albums and has played over 3,000 concerts to over 32 million fans in roughly 50 countries. Yet many of their greatest hits came from the partnership of Bon Jovi and Sambora working together in the basement of Richie's mother's house.
The musicians reflect on the strong friendship they have developed over the years, as well as the individual side projects each is committed to.
Bravo is part of NBC Universal Cable Entertainment, a division of NBC Universal, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, and marketing of entertainment, news, and information to a global audience.
