Exxxotica Expo finds New Jersey works for adult fans

Those of you who are over 18 might like to know that the Exxxotica Expo, the largest adult entertainment show in the country, will be returning to the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison this weekend.

Hundreds of adult film stars and fellow travelers will be there, including Lupe Fuentes, Evan Seinfeld, former Rutgers student Joanna Angel, Nina Hartley, Amy Fisher and Michelle "Bombshell'' McGee, who gained notoriety as the gal who broke up the Sandra Bullock-Jesse James marriage.

According to mycentraljersey.com, organizers expect 15,000-18,000 attendees to make the trek to Edison.

J. Handy, director of Victory Tradeshow Management, said in a press release, "Exxxotica truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for men, women and couples to spend their days entertained by the stage acts, adult stars and seminars and their nights surrounded by sexiness at any of our official after parties.''

NJ.com reported that the company has filed a lawsuit against Secaucus, former Mayor Dennis Elwell and the owner of the Meadowlands Expo Center back in September over being forced to move a 2008 trade show from Secaucus to Edison just days before the event.

According to the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court, Exxxotica is also seeking to recoup its $32,500 deposit and an unspecified amount for losses it incurred in moving the three-day trade show to Edison, including advertising, transportation, and hotels for vendors and entertainers.

Just days before the 2008 event, Secaucus had filed their own lawsuit to ban the trade show from the town, citing violations of municipal and state ordinances on alcohol and proximity to a day-care center.

Exxxotica officials bowed to town pressure and promised to remove the "Harem Lounge" and go-go dancing, among other things, from the schedule of events, but the trade show was forced out anyway, the lawsuit says.

Events will be taking place in Edison this year, beginning from 4 to 11 p.m. Friday; 1 to 11 p.m. Saturday; noon to 7 p.m. Sunday at the New Jersey Convention Center, 97 Sunfield Ave., Edison, NJ. Ticket prices range from $41.45 to $81.90.

If you never been to one its quite a show.... but for me its boring since its the 4th year going. This years show was crowded but only because of the hype they created, Half the shows line up did not show at all and it was those startlets whom I went to go meet so it was a terrible disappointment this year.
