Whoo-hoo! as Homer Simpson would say.
The patriarch of the all-in-the-dysfunctional TV family would surely give his stamp of approval to this new character development that pushes the envelope..
The portraits of his zany family -- besides Homer, they include Marge, Lisa, Bart and Maggie -- have been released by the U.S. Postal Service. The characters will begin appearing on 44-cent first-class postage stamps on May 7, and customers can pre-order them online. "The Simpsons" television show is the longest-running comedy program in history. It's won numerous awards, but as creator and executive producer Matt Groening says, "This is our biggest and most adhesive honor yet."
