"Jerseylicious" will return for its second season Sept. 5, and there's a new addition to the cast.
Here's a spoiler alert: Christy Pereira, part of the mother-daughter team that runs The Gatsby Salon, the centerpiece of "Jerseylicious," is pregnant in Season 2.
"And of course, Style's cameras will be there to capture the joy as Christy and her husband welcome their first child!" The Style Network said in a press release Wednesday on the new season's premiere.
In its freshman season "Jerseylicious" was Style's most-watched new series, as viewers tuned in to see the battles between brunette makeup artist Olivia Blois Sharpe and her nemesis, blonde hair stylist Tracy DiMarco.
The reality show's second season has 20 new one-hour episodes, and continues to follow the staff at the Green Brook, N.J., salon. It will air on Sundays but has a new time slot, 8 p.m. instead of 10 p.m.
The show is part of a glut of reality shows that feature Italian Americans in the Garden State, including MTV's hit "Jersey Shore," Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" and Oxygen's "Jersey Couture."

‘Jerseylicious' and its Jersey Girls renewed for second season
Season 2 of "Jerseylicious," Style says, "is full of budding romances, growing friendships, bitter rivalries, plenty of Tracy vs. Olivia hair-raising feuds and even a new baby."
The comedic drama of "Jerseylicious" centers around the high-profile and recently renovated beauty salon run by the mother/daughter management team of Gayle Giacomo and Pereira.
"Christy is beaming with excitement as she is expecting
her first child, but she is getting self-conscious of her growing belly," Style Network says. "With a little encouragement from her friends and colleagues, she decides to embrace her baby bump in a glamorous pregnancy photo-shoot — leopard, lace and all Jersey!"
The salon's team of experts and experts-in-training includes Anthony Lombardi, an established stylist whose own beauty parlor, the Anthony Robert Salon, in Verona, N.J., recently completed its own renovations.
The "Jerseylicious" cast also includes Gigi Liscio, a young hairdresser who wants nothing more than to find "the one"; "The Glam Fairy" Alexa Prisco, one of the top bridal make-up artists in the Tri-state area; Sharpe, a party girl trying to become a successful makeup artist; and her rival DiMarco, a talented hair stylist who loves tormenting Sharpe, whom she calls "a cheap knock off version of me"; and Filippo, Lombardi's flirtatious intern who focuses more on getting phone numbers from clients than working on his craft.
In the premiere episode, the salon's business is booming with the help of last season's new additions Sharpe, DiMarco, Liscio, Lombardi and Prisco.
"High demand, intense hours and personality clashes, however, are taking their toll on the stylists," according to Style.
Lombardi's Anthony's newly renovated salon on Bloomfield Avenue is ready to open for business, and "he is struggling with leaving his new found family at The Gatsby," Style said in its press release.
Hot-headed Prisco and her new apprentice Sharpe "are up to their wings with ‘Glam Fairy' clients," according to Style, while Giacomo is beginning to feel The Glam Fairy's absence in the salon and "decides to confront Alexa about her attitude and priorities, which causes tension with everyone."
Here's what else Style says viewers have to look forward to.
"Tracy asks her boyfriend, Lorenzo, who is also Olivia's ex, for help with a huge event at her beauty school alma mater because she wants to show how she's grown since graduation, but the night ends a humiliating disaster," according to Style. "Throughout the season, the dramatic rivalries continue as self-proclaimed ‘villainess' Tracy continues to clash with makeup-maven Olivia who develops a new love interest that sends Tracy over the edge."
Meanwhile, tensions between Giacomo and Prisco reach new levels as both entrepreneurs have conflicting priorities regarding having their own individual businesses succeed.
In Pereira's absence as she preps for her baby's arrival, Lombardi tried to bring his own expertise and ideas into the salon, which is not well-received warmly by the bosses.
The Jersey Girls of "Jerseylicious" also attempt speed-dating and head to Atlantic City "to hunt for some hot muscular men, while sweet-as-sugar Gigi starts to question her relationship with longtime boyfriend Frankie," according to Style.
Left out by the women, Lombardi's intern, ladies' man Filippo, decides to take his boss to the Jersey Shore to show him a fun time.
"Those stories, as well as a boob job, a pizza-tossing contest, a strip show, romances taken to the new levels and even a Jersey invasion of Texas, are just a few of the many not-to-be-missed happenings on the new second season of ‘Jerseylicious,'" according to Style.
"Jerseylicious" is produced by Endemol USA for The Style Network. Three-time Emmy winner Alex Duda is the executive producer, along with by Style executive producers Sarah Weidman and Merah Chung.

Fucking be a woman and stop treating people like shit and being so self absorbed, the only reason you want to be friends with briella is because she was friends with olivia and you wanted to take that away from her. ALEXA - WHY are you so intimidated toward Gayle? Every single comment out of your mouth is nasty and scarcastic, every single time you say anything to Gayle. Listen "deer" - don't burnn a bridge that your fat ass may have to cross back over later on down the road of life. If you can't stay civil and respectful with your comments, SHUT THE HELL UP!
OLIVIA - You have really matured. I am so glad you jumped on the late makeup artist. Good job. I am so proid of nyou for that. Also, if you don't want Tracy's ex-boyfriend texting you, then tell him so. Don't put yourself in any kind of position to deal with Tracey and her fat ass or any of her BS. Just tell the idiot to stop texting you. Now keep in mind, if Tracey comes after youb again, be ready to literally knock the living HELL out of her. Olivia, I am not playing. Don't take any more crap off of Tracey.
GAYLE - Fire Doria and get your salon back to normal. I am so sick and tired of her big fat ass mouth. It did my heart good to see youb climb into Doria's ass and tell her to get her shitn together; you demanded perfection. Let her know that you are NOT taking any more lip off of her. YOU WON THE TROPHY! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so glad that YOU won it. I am so glad that Alexa did NOT win it. Or poor heffah. WAH, wah, wah, wah!! Shut up and go home woman.
ANTHONY - I am sooooooooo sorry about your salon flooding. That just flat sucks and I am so sorry it happened to your new salon. But you made it and showed up for the fashion show. I really appreciate your comments and your attitude about Gayle winning the fashion show. You will make it even bigger next year, you just watch, you will see.

DORIA - Bottom line: You need to shut the Hell up. I am already sick and tired of you and this is the first episode for 2011. You totally, totally pissed me off, always talking "down" to Olivia, going over her makeup work, telling her that the job she did needed this or needed that, thinking that your stylist work is much better than Olivia's. You are trying to mold her? For what? She don't need no molding from you. You have a big mouth and you are loud which is totally unnecessary.
ANTHONY - I am so glad that your shop is finished. I know you are too. I wish you the best of luck and success in your new salon.. Please hire Olivia. She will be a valuable asset to your salon and will bring you a lot of business.
OLIVIA - Take the time off and look for another job, somewhere, anywhere. Hopefully Anthony can hire you to work in his salon. What you are going thru is bulls*** and is not necessary. Then, while you are gone, hopefully Gayle can see what a pain in the ass Doria really is. I guarantee you that if she is riding you, I know she is going to start riding others in the shop. (Please let it be Tracey. That would be one time in which I would love for Tracey to tear her head completely off!)

TRACEY - What in the Hell was so funny when fat ass Doria was talking down to Olivia? OK. Now that Olivia is on leave for a week, I hope she starts telling you about your work and how you need to add a little bit here and there. I hope she talks DOWN to you. Then you can see and know exactly how Olivia feels. So watch who you laugh at and what you laugh at. It could come back to bite you in the ass big time.
Conclusion - yeah, the Gatsby has officially hired a JOKE, 21 tons of it. Watch your back woman. You are screwing up big time and it is going to come back to you ten fold.
I am appalled that Gigi can't see that Alexa was using her to get at the Gatsby owners. Shame on you for not reading between the lines. What is going on with your hair??? Olivia, please get some back-bone and confront Gayle about this new idiot. Do it in a non-emotional way an have your facts ready to go. Is Anthony really leaving?! What a positive person to have on this otherwise negative show. His presence was the sense of the sensibilities for GAtsby.

Olivia - I am sooooooooooo glad that Briella has moved out. That was the best idea that SHE came up with. When Gayle finds out that she is working with Alexa, I hope Gayle slams the Hell out of her and fires her on the fricking spot. BAM! Oh would love to see that episode. Catch that heffer is a bold face lie.

Frankie & GiGi - your do not need another show.
Frankie, make dinner over at your house for the two of you since when you do go out, you either get sick or something happens like that stupid couple who kept arguing like 2 ordained fruitloops. I don't blame either of you. I was getting sick and tired of both of them. BUT DON'T GIVE UP. If the dinner at home doesn't work, you will have to do some traveling to a really nice hotel somewhere in order to pull this off. Frankie, I know that you can do this and I know how anxious you are to do it the right way. Don't worry, the time will ben right and it will happen at the right time.
Just promise me that you will have OLIVIA do your makeup on your wedding day. Stay away from Alexa and Tracy - please stay away from those two (what's the name for female dogs?)
Olivia - your makeup presentation that you did at the Gatsby brought you and the business a lot of money, and that is what Gayled likes; that is what any business owner would like. YOU GO GIRL! Keep up the good work, stay positive and focused and do NOT let Briella or Tracey or anybody else get in your way. You are progressing nicely your lady.
You made a statement before the show ended that Tracey has taken your ex-boyfriend and now your best friend. That bothered me. Think about it woman. All she did was take the TRASH out of your house. Good for her. Now you can go out there and get something better, much better than what you had.

Olivia - get rid of Briella. GIRL PLEASE, GET BUSY AND START MAKING SOME CHANGES IN YOUR LIFE. Move her out of your apartmtent or you get your own place with somebody else. CUT HER OFF! Have absolutely nothing else to do with her or say to her no matter what she says or does. You don't need the drama, especially if tramp ass Tracy is involved with it. Stand your ground and move her out or you move out; do something but get rid of her or your life is going to be a mess, worrying about what Tracy is saying to Briella and vice versa. Alexa - Take your business and good luck to you. The way you approached Gayle clearly showed that you are NOT a professional business person that you claim to be. You are talking to Briella in hopes of persuading her to be your so called best friend, getting her to kiss your ass and do your bidding. The part of where the Pizza family celebrated 35 years of service was fascinating. I really enjoyed how they twirled the pizza dough around. Congratulations on being in business for so many years.
