Funeral services for Assemblyman Alex DeCroce to be held Friday

Visiting hours set for Thursday in Parsippany

Funeral services for the late Assembly Republican Leader Alex DeCroce will be held Friday in Parsippany.

DeCroce, 75, of Parsippany, died unexpectedly at the Statehouse late Monday as the Assembly completed its final and lengthy voting day of the two-year legislative session.

Visiting hours are scheduled for Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Rd. in Parsippany.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, 179 Baldwin Rd., Parsippany at 10 a.m., Friday. Internment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
