Gov. Chris Christie will be in Baltimore Friday where he will address the U.S. House Republican Retreat at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront hotel.
The three-day retreat began Thursday. Besides Christie, Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and Texas Gov. Rick Perry are scheduled to address the lawmakers.
Christie helped House Republicans raise money as the headliner at an annual fund-raising dinner last spring in Washington.
The retreat will focus on House Republican political and legislative strategy for 2012. Last year, President Obama addressed the GOP lawmakers in Baltimore.
