The Citadel, a military college in South Carolina, has reported that a counselor at its summer camp and an alumni, Louis Neal "Skip" ReVille, faces charges including criminal sexual conduct with a child.

According to Reuters, in 2007, the college received an allegation that in 2002, ReVille invited two campers at The Citadel Summer Camp into his room to watch pornography where they engaged in masturbation, according to the college.

The Citadel investigated the situation with the camper's family, who did not want their names publicized. CNN reports that Citadel officials said in a statement, "Despite the concerns of the family, whose right to privacy was foremost on our minds, we regret that we did not pursue this matter further."

Reville was arrested October 28 on separate charges of molesting five boys in Mount Pleasant, near Charleston, South Carolina.

According to the Post and Courier, the Citadel closed its summer camp in 2006, just months after paying $3.8 million to five campers who claimed to be molested by a Marine captain who had volunteered as a counselor. Michael Arpaio allegedly fondled the boys, gave them with drugs and booze and exposed them to pornography.

An attorney for the five campers said the school did not investigate the sexual misconduct allegations, and the Marine Corps finally investigated after a former camper’s family complained to the Pentagon. Citadel officials said the school dismissed Arpaio in 2001 right after hearing the reports that he had been molesting children.

ReVille, 32, worked alongside Arpaio at the camp for a short period in 2001. One of the affected former camper’s parents, who spoke anonymously, said ReVille promoted himself as trustworthy. She said to the Post and Courier. “It was all about trust. He was smooth.”

ReVille is said to be cooperating with investigators and Hanahan police have indicated that based on his statements, six more charges are coming involving town incidents.
