A 69-year-old grandmother has published a 208-page sizzler in which she details her 18-month affair with John F. Kennedy while she was an intern in the White House.
The book, “Once Upon a Secret: My Affair with President John F. Kennedy and Its Aftermath,” by Mimi Alford is scheduled to hit area bookstores Wednesday.
According to the New York Post, who claims to have purchased a copy of the book in a Manhattan bookstore, Alford tells about losing her virginity to Kennedy and writes, in intimate detail, about her 18-month love affair with the president
According to the Post, Alford met Kennedy in the summer of 1962, four days after she began her Whitehouse internship, when the 19-year-old debutante was invited by an aide to take a dip in the pool where the president swam daily. Later in the day, Kennedy invited Alford for a private tour of the White House and took her to Mrs. Kennedy’s bedroom.
The affair ended in November 1963, when Alford returned to college and a few week before the president was assassinated.
The liaison first came to light in 2003 in the book “An Unfinished Life: John F. Kennedy, 1917-1963,” by Robert Dallek, but Alford was not named. However, according to a UK Daily Mail article published on May 23, 2009, a newspaper tracked Alford down and she subsequently admitted the affair.

What was the value of that interview? Who does it benefit?
They did a disservice to this country. I have no respect for NBC and Brian Williams!
