Some good acting nearly makes the show bearable. Ellen Burstyn offers a deeply-felt performance as the sunny, somewhat delusional actress-mom. Perfectly cast as the scruffy reprobate of a dad, a jaunty John Glover lounges around being wonderfully scornful of the entire proceedings. We share his feelings.
“The Atmosphere of Memory” continues through Nov. 20 at the Bank Street Theater, 155 Bank St., New York. Call (212) 513-1080 or visit www.labtheater.org.
