Paula has been a journalist for more than 20 years. She was a Deputy Business Editor for the award-winning Star-Ledger Newspaper, New Jersey's largest daily. In that role, she oversaw copy editors, graphic designers and production staff who edited and wrote headlines for the newspaper's business section. Her 12-year career at the Ledger has included working as assistant copy chief in the features department, and as a copy editor on the news desk. Prior to the Ledger, Paige was employed by Times Mirror, now called Tribune Corporation, where she was an assistant news editor at Newsday in Long Island. Paige is also an Air Force reservist. A 24-year Air Force veteran , she has traversed the globe, serving in the Persian Gulf, Asia, Europe, the Pacific and the United States. Born in Jamaica, but raised in Queens, N.Y., Paige attended Queensboro Community College and Hunter College in New. She is an active member of the Tuskegee Airmen Inc., the Garden State Association of Black Journalists and the Jamaican Organization of New Jersey.
