The Houston Texans took defensive end J.J. Watt in first round, passing on Prince Amukamara. Were able to address the team’s secondary and Houston’s most glaring need with cornerback Brandon Harris from Miami in second round. In Watt, Harris and Brooks Reed, Houston got new defensive coordinator Wade Phillips some talented players to upgrade the defense. Watt may be the first round pick, and he was not a reach, but Harris will be the team’s most important selection as Phillips has a lot of work ahead of him in fixing the NFL’s worst secondary.
