The Kansas City Chiefs addressed needs and got value in first three rounds. Wide receiver Jonathan Baldwin may have been a reach in the first round, but he fills a need giving the Chiefs a second wide receiver to go with Dwayne Bowe. What makes this draft a success is the picks in the second and third rounds. The Chiefs needed offensive line help and got it in guard Rodney Hudson, who was supposed to be a late first round pick. They needed help at linebacker and got it in Justin Houston out of Georgia who was considered to be the third best linebacker in the draft behind Von Miller and Akeem Ayers. In the third round they got defensive end Allen Bailey who was thought to be a second round pick. All could start this fall.
