The New York Jets got value, did not reach and addressed the team’s most pressing needs along the defensive line with selection of defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson and nose tackle Kendrick Ellis. Like the Giants, if the jets are judged on the draft by the first two rounds the grade is an A. However, the rest of the draft was nothing special. Drafting running back Bilal Powell in fourth round does not make sense unless the Jets have doubts about Joe McKnight and Shonn Green. The Jets could also have added some depth along offensive line.
