The Seattle Seahawks needed offensive line help, but reached with picks of tackle James Carpenter from Alabama and guard John Moffitt from Wisconsin. Needed a quarterback but Jake Locker was already taken by Tennessee, and the Seahawks did not address their need for defensive line help, particularly a pass rushing defensive end.
