Giants’ fans in New Jersey don’t need to fight the crowds in Manhattan Tuesday to celebrate the team’s Super Bowl victory.
Following the parade down Broadway in lower Manhattan at 11 a.m., the Giants and their families will return New Jersey at 3 p.m. for a victory rally in MetLife Stadium in the Meadowlands.
The Manhattan parade will begin at Battery Place and Washington Street and continue northbound up the Canyon of Heroes to Worth Street. The parade will be followed by a ceremony at City Hall Plaza where the Giants will be presented with Keys to the city.
Following the ceremony, the Giants will board busses and return to the Meadowlands where there will be free parking and tailgating will be permitted. The stadium gates will open to the public at 2:15 p.m. Cameras, video cameras, signs and banners are permitted.
Large bags and backpacks are not permitted inside the stadium.
The celebration will conclude about 3:30 p.m.
All cars should park in lots F and G. Buses from the Port Authority will run to the stadium starting at 1:00 p.m.
There will be no trains or buses from Secaucus but there will be an increased number of taxis available.
