That’s all Apple is saying in their invitations to a media event on Tuesday, October 4, but it figures to mean the release of the highly anticipated iPhone 5 is but weeks away. Most reports are pointing at October 14. Even Al Gore, an Apple board member, had earlier hinted at the company’s upcoming announcement when he referred to "the new iPhones released next month."
