With the persistent heat waves and humidity, it’s hard to keep your grass regularly watered, leaving you with a brown dried-up lawn.
But for many, a new solution has come along: for about 15 cents a square foot, you can have you lawn professionally painted green, according to Reuters
The biodegradable spray being used for ‘lawn painting’ in numerous neighborhoods across New Jersey and New York can last up until next spring if the grass is truly dried, according to the Huffington Post.
For lawns with a bit of life in them, the paint will last for two to three mows, said Joe Perazzo, who recently launched his own lawn painting business in New York.
Inspired by the tinting process of professional athletic fields, Perazzo has taken advantage of this season’s heat and lack of rain to give customers the greenest lawn on their block.
“Its not hampering the lawn, but really showcasing it and giving it that curb appeal,” Perazzo said.
