High pressure over the St. Lawrence River Valley will produce dry and chilly weather conditions over the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas through tomorrow evening.

High pressure will produce scattered cloud cover and a northerly wind at around 5 mph through tonight.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 30's to lower 40's over the interior and mid 40's along the coast.  However, temperatures will fall like the lower to mid 30's with the northerly wind factored in.

Tonight, scattered clouds can be expected with light and variable winds.  The generally clear skies and light winds will allow temperatures to crash into the mid to upper 20's over the interior and lower 30's along the coast for lows.
The high pressure system will shift towards the New England coastal waters tomorrow leading to winds shift to the east and southeast at 5 mph.  Slightly warmer conditions can be expected with highs reaching the lower to mid 40's over the interior and mid to upper 40's along the coast.

A slow moving warm front will produce waves of scattered showers late on Friday on through Monday with significantly warmer conditions.  As the warm front lifts north, showers will increase in coverage on Saturday and Sunday with some showers producing heavy downpours.  Temperatures on Saturday morning will range from the upper 30's to mid 40's and rise into the mid to upper 50's for highs in the afternoon.  Temperatures on Sunday and Monday will range from the mid to upper 40's for lows and mid to upper 50's for highs.

By Tuesday, a powerful cold front will drive through the region on Tuesday morning with widespread showers and rapidly falling temperatures.  Temperatures will struggle in the lower to mid 40's for highs in the afternoon on Tuesday.  Cold conditions will continue on Wednesday with lows in the upper 20's to lower 30's and highs in the upper 30's to mid 40's.
