A series of disturbances will move through the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas through tomorrow leading to variable cloud cover and widely scattered rain showers. Warm air will invade the northern Mid Atlantic leading to temperatures rising into the mid 40's to lower 50's for highs this afternoon.
Mild conditions will continue through tomorrow evening with the threat for scattered showers. High pressure will take hold by Friday with clearing skies. Temperatures will range from the upper 20's to mid 30's for lows and upper 40's to lower 50's for highs.
Colder conditions will return for Saturday with clear skies and light winds. Temperatures will return to more seasonable levels with lows in the mid 20's to lower 30's and highs in the upper 30's to mid 40's.
An area of low pressure will pass well to the southeast of New Jersey on Saturday night into Sunday with scattered rain and snow showers. Windy conditions can be expected as the low pressure system explodes well east of the region. High pressure will regain control Sunday night through Tuesday with scattered cloud cover. Temperatures will range from the mid 20's to lower 30's for lows and upper 30's to mid 40's for highs.
