Earlier Monday morning at approximately 6:55 a.m., Maplewood police officers responded to Henry Place in Maplewood on a report of a male found in bed unresponsive.
The male, who was pronounced dead, was later identified as Arthur Downey, age 27.
It has been determined by the medical examiner that the manner of death was asphyxia and the cause of death was homicide.
Detectives are currently searching for a 2007 blue Chevrolet Trail Blazer, plate number YMH65X which is registered to the decedent.
