NOW THAT'S FUNNY
Just in time for Christmas, the Donald is getting something on his list. He wanted a helistop at his Golf Club in New Jersey. After a local zoning board had denied his request, a state appeals court has given him the go-ahead.
I bet you didn’t know that Donald Trump has many golf clubs, and I don’t mean the kind the caddy carries. Trump Golf operates many gorgeous courses, including one in Colt's Neck, New Jersey. It is at that site that Trump will build and operate a helistop.
As reported by the Associated Press, the Colts Neck zoning board had ruled that the noise of a helipad would be harmful to the town’s rural character.
But the state appeals court found insufficient evidence to support that, and has agreed that Trump can build it.
Donald Trump got his way in court to build something? Amazing!
Trump really loves that golf course. In fact, he is considering building a cemetery right next to it so he can spend eternity there. The cemetery would be small, just 1.5 acres, and would be limited to club members, with a small section for his family.
Which wife/wives would that include? There could be quite a few by the time he makes it to his final resting place.
In their ruling, the court stipulated that the helistop is to be used only by Trump, members of his family, or a designee, not more than 48 times per year, or in case of emergency.
Emergencies listed include:
Trump hasn’t played golf in three days and is having withdrawal.
Trump thinks that Obama’s college records are buried somewhere on the back nine.
Trump hears a rumor that a hot young woman, possibly material for wife #4, has just teed off.
Looks like Trump will all be set to helicopter over to the links at his leisure. I just hope he watches out for birdies.
