You Can't Have Your Cake and Eat it Too: Pittsburgh Man Steals From 'Cake Boss'

As simple as stealing candy from a baby! In this case a Pittsburgh man is being accused of stealing cake from a Cake Boss.

Buddy Valastro, star of TLC’s show “Cake Boss,” was in downtown Pittsburgh handing out free cakes to the sweet-toothed residents when a man allegedly cut the line to steal not one, not two, but four cakes.

As hundreds of people waited Tuesday morning in Market Square to taste the best of what Carlo’s “Buddy” Bakery had to offer, the theft caused a huge commotion among the anxious fans, officials said.

Officers then had to break up several fights caused by other individuals who attempted to jump in line.

Diana Richards, spokeswoman for the Pittsburgh police department, said William Davenport took four cakes worth about $27 each from a storage area.

After officers subdued him, Davenport apologized for stealing the cakes and admitted he was intoxicated. According to court papers, Davenport has no attorney.

Blame it on the sugar rush.

Let us know how you feel about incident below in the comments box. Do you think charges should be dropped or should Buddy forgive and forget?
