Reward offered for help solving Glassboro shooting of Patrick Hastings

police122209_optThe Glassboro Police Department and the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office are jointly offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for a shooting that inflicted a life-threatening wound to Patrick M. Hastings, 29, on Friday evening, December 17, outside a building at Parkcrest Village Apartments in Glassboro, the victim's residence. He remains hospitalized.

"We are seeking the public's assistance in solving this shooting," said Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean F. Dalton. "Those who commit gun crimes can cause terrible damage and should be considered outcasts by the entire community."

Anyone with information about the incident can contact Glassboro Det. Lou Butler at (856) 881-1501 or GCPO Det. Ron Koller at (609) 929-6348. Anonymous text messages can be sent, beginning the message with GLOTIP and sending to 274637 (CRIMES). The texter will receive a four-digit code number which will be used to identify the message-sender and pay the reward.
