One of the newest openings on Broadway could be called "The Boardwalk meets the Great White Way."
The state Division of Travel and Tourism has opened the Jersey Shore Store, aimed at luring visitors to Atlantic City, the Wildwoods and other points along the coast.
The Jersey Shore Store is offering vacation giveaways and special events, such as casino days and sand sculptors. Like many Broadway offerings, it has a limited run. Located at 813 Broadway between 11th and 12th streets, the Jersey Shore Store is open Tuesdays through Sundays through July 5.
Jeff Vasser, president of the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority, authority, told the Press of Atlantic City that the store adds an important element to city marketing at a time when new train service is available from Penn Station. The Atlantic City Express Train Service, or ACES operates on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with stops in New York and Newark.
