At Brandl, Belmar, Chef Chris Brandl is offering a four-course dinner that is shucked-full of flavors from the sea. Highlights of the menu include: Lobster Chowder en Croute; Oyster Course of three oysters mignonette; Porterhouse Steak for Two, Rack of Lamb, Lazy Lobster; Dessert is a Trio of Crème Brulée, Strawberry Bread Pudding and Chocolate Mint Ice Cream. Desiring romance on the water? Salt Creek Grille on the Navesink River, Rumson, is the ideal location. From Friday, February 10 through Valentine’s Day, Salt Creek Grille is offering a special $100 prix fixe dinner for two, exclusive of tax and gratuity. The special prix fixe dinner includes: a glass of champagne for each, choice of soup or salad for each guest; a shared appetizer; a choice of an entrée for each; a shared dessert; and a shared bottle of wine. If you or your love long for ocean breezes and salty air, head to the Asbury Park boardwalk and Langosta Lounge for a special à la carte menu, boasting passion fruit Bellinis, heart-warming entrées and rich, chocolate desserts Langosta Lounge, 1000 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park, 732-455-3275.

You will also find magnificent ocean views for a romantic dinner at Avenue, on the boardwalk in Long Branch. On Valentine’s Day, the Parisian-style brasserie is offering a four-course dinner at $39 per person featuring seaworthy fare – Smoked Salmon Tartare, Hiramasa and Tuna Tartare and Chatham Cod, as well as Slow Cooked Muscovy Duck Magret with a Chocolate Lover’s Sampler for a grand finale. David Burke Fromagerie exudes romantic ambience and casual elegance. Executive Chef Larry Baldwin and Pastry Chef Stuart Marx have created an awesome, artfully crafted and super delicious menu for lovers and friends to savor. Some highlights of this mouth-watering menu are: Lobster & Coconut Bisque with Lobster Dumplings, Green Apple, Red Curry; Bone Marrow-Crusted Filet Mignon with Pommes Purée, Sautéed Spinach, Red Wine Bordelaise, and for a romantic finale, Red Velvet Layer Cake, Five Chocolate Espresso Terrine Cocoa Almond Toffee Crunch.
