A Victoria’s Secret Angel announced she is hanging up her in wings in light of a religious revelation – that her body should be reserved only for her husband. 21-year-old Kylie Bisutti, who beat out 10,000 other girls in the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Model Search, felt she made the right decision after reviewing her Christian morals.

The Daily Mail reports that Bisutti, who was 19 when she won the Model Search, felt the new lifestyle didn’t live up to her expectations. She said, “It was pretty crazy because I finally achieved my biggest dream, the dream that I always wanted, but when I finally got it, it wasn't all that I thought it would be.”

In an interview with ABC News, Bisutti claimed her husband was also secretly praying that she would come to the right decision and give up the lingerie lifestyle, but never pressed her on it.

“He was so, so supportive of me and I’m so thankful that he let me grow and let me come to this decision on my own,” she said in the interview. While the two were newly married at the time Bisutti won the Model Search, they are both happy she’ll be covering up from now on.

What really motivated her to make the change, however, was realizing that “thousands of girls that think that being beautiful is an outer issue and really it’s a heart issue.” She recalls that an 8-year-old cousin said to her one day, “You know, I think I want to stop eating so I can look like you.”

In the ABC interview, Bisutti said the incident broke her heart, leading to her decision to leave Victoria’s Secret.

While that part of her career may be ending, the 21-year-old is not giving up her dreams of pursuing a modeling career.

As she told ABC, she plans to “be more wholesome about it, and the jobs that I choose are always going to be honoring the Lord.”
