Your excuses all fall flat.. oh it's an ancient rune, oh they probably didn't know.. oh they couldn't be neo-nazis because marines from several generations ago fought the nazis back in the 1940s what a weak collection of excuses Let's face it, we have both a gang problem and also a neo-nazi problem in our military. There is "blood" and "crip" gang graffiti spray painted by our soldiers all over Iraq Until we own up to those facts we won't be able to deal with the problem

This symbol is not "gang" related, nor is it a "neo-nazi" related issue. You obviously have never served with Marine infantry. The SS flag was conveniant because it has the symbol SS for scout sniper and deaths head. Snipers deliver death to thier enemies from afar. Its fitting. To suggest anything else is purely speculation and ultimately ignorant on your part. Symbols over time change in meaning and here is an example of how.
