I am amazed that the Left-biased media actually printed the story. The statement: "Experts say to see reefs bounce back from mass coral bleaching in less than a decade is highly unusual . . . ", is symbolic of all aspects of science, and, in particular, the analysis of ever more complex systems (whether it is the reef, the climate, the fusion process, and so on . . .); it is what is known in philosophy as arrested knowledge. Just because current theories don't hold water doesn't mean that they are incorrect - but it isn't until 2020 hindsight kicks in and we all go 'oh, well we got that wrong didn't we'. A classic example is the sound barrier - many 'experts' believed at the time that no vehicle could go faster than the speed of sound as they'd all 'hit a wall' and be destroyed. reality proved them wrong. All the theories about global warming are based on spurious computer models that have little, if any, bearing to reality; the 'sound barrier' hostility based on spurious data. But it makes for a good global campaign for enslavement, gross escalations of taxation, and the empowerment of politicians (even ones who were really bad singers to boot!). ps - good one 'uhoh'!
