How many children will have to be injured by bears before our people realize that we need to take serious steps to control the population? Hunting is a legitimate sport and is an effective method of controlling the bear population. I am not a hunter, but can see where hunting is an effective way to protect people from wild animals.
As an alternate, perhaps we can relocate the bears to the town where the leaders of these environmental groups live. That way the "environmentalists" can save the bears from the people who want the bears moved to another location so that our towns will be safe from wild animals.
