Good to see this kind of commitment to CHP. I’m associated with Recycled Energy Development, which cuts costs and pollution at the same time through CHP and its sister technology, waste heat recovery. The potential here is profound, with numerous studies suggesting we could slash U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by about 20% through just recovering energy that would otherwise be wasted. That’s as much as if we took every passenger vehicle off the road. Meanwhile, costs would fall due to increased efficiency. We should be doing much more of this. The main obstacle is regulatory, and it looks like New Jersey is helping to overcome that.
