Christie's attack on teachers is an insult to anyone's intelligence. Christie needs someone to blame for New Jersey's fiscal mess, so he chose the teachers. (He has no concern for public schools - he sends his children to private schools.) NJ's fiscal mess started with Christie Whitman (Oh my God! Another Republican!) when she played with the state pension system to give tax breaks to the rich. And if Christie is really concerned about the cost of teaching, why hasn't he looked into the bloated overpaid ADMINISTRATIONS of the schools? There are school districts in NJ that have only one or two schools and yet have complete boards like major cities. Do we really need all those administrators? In Mendham Borough (near Christie's home) the middle school has a DEAN OF STUDENTS. Does a middle school need a Dean Of Students? Talk about overpaid administrators! Of course Christie won't deal with this - Mendham is heavily Republican. And regarding Christie's attack on the teachers, here's a little multiple choice history test that might put this all in perspective: In (1930 Germany, 2010 New Jersey) there was a fiscal crisis and (Adolf Hitler, Chris Christie) needed a scapegoat. So he chose the (Jews, teachers). Maybe it's in poor taste to compare Christie to Hitler. But conservative hate groups have no qualms comparing Obama to Hitler. But I guess that's acceptable because the members of these groups are God-fearing Family-valued white folks.

Well...well...there are so called Republicans on here who are really democrats. putting down Governor Christie...who has a difficult job considering the free spending democrats who have ben in charge for years....and have almost destroyed the finances in Jersey.

I am also a lifelong Republican and I too miss the decent Republicans we used to be proud of. That Tea Party is made up of idiots. I was at shopping center recently where the Tea party set up a stand. I listened to them rant about Obama being a Socialist. They talked about how the Health Care Bill is unconstitutional because it makes Americans pay for something. Most of the Tea Party members looked like retirees, so I asked them what they did with their Social Security checks - did they simply shred them or did they send them back to the government without endorsing them? After all, they are SOCIAL (as in socialism) SECURITY. I also asked them how they pay their doctors. They certainly don't use Medicare Part B since the government makes them pay for it which is unconstituional. (I suppose they don't drive because the government makes them pay for car insurance.) The tea part members just stared at me and then ignored me. Apparently, they never thought through their arguments. That's not surprising - they're probably gullible fans of FOX NEWS.

Just like obama blames Bush for everything and you moronic liberals eat it up, Christie can and will blame Corzine and the Democratic Legislature in this stinkin state for the fiscal crisis we are in. Where the hell were you when Corzine was driving this state into the ground? Fire the Union Thugs who wished him dead, just like you slimy liberals call for anyone and everyone to be fired for disagreeing with osama (because you think it's Racist to disagree with obama) - well guess what -we now what this douche bag Union Scum FIRED for his death threat, and that is what it was and is. You cannot have it both ways any longer, we are all onto the hypocrisy that comes out of the left. NJ taxpayers want the pay freezes, NJ people are out of work in the private sector and it isn't getting any better, if you don't like the pay freeze, quit and try, just try to find a job. I'm so sick of you dumb lefties and your retarded logic, we are broke, get it BROKE, there is no more money for pay raises, what don't you people understand. I pay $10,000 a year in property taxes in Essex County and I don't have kids - it's over, my house is now worthless, even though I pay my mortgage every month, and I am sick to death of people like you whining about teachers pay and "just do it for the kids" No more, you want the teachers to have more money, pony it up yourself. The taxpayers are bled dry, there is no more money......The End.
