Years ago in the early days of print journalism newspapers did whatever they could to sell papers including sensationalizing stories. Headlines were reminiscent of our current day National Enquirer. After a fashion it grew so rediculous that publications such as the Cleveland Plain Dealer were spawned because most people wanted to know the truth. Look at what has happened. If you forget the past you are bound to repeat it.
