Govenor Christie's veto of the tax credit

The Governor has made a lot of difficult decisions, some I agree with some I'm not too sure about. However, I do know that we can not continue doing what we always do and that is spend money, as a real estate agent in Ocean County, the tax credit would certainly have helped. My life partner is a contractor, are we feeling the pain? Yes but we understand that any change is going to be painful in order to start moving things in the right direction. I purchased my home 11 years ago as a single woman, was it tough, yes. At 41 yrs old I never thought I would own a home but I made it happen-with out a tax credit. I went 15 yrs without health insurance and I prayed everyday I would stay well, I never went to an emergency room, instead I "sucked it up" finally I got a part time job at night slicing lunch meat at a super market just for the health care. I have never collected unemployment because you can always find work, if you are willing to work hard and swallow your pride. Wrong or right, Governor Christie, I support you and what you are trying to do. Most of all I am proud that you are the first person in government in a very long time that has stood up for your beliefs and not given in to strong opposition. You are not afraid to make tough and unpopular decisions. Keep up the good work, most of us "Middle class New Jerseyeans" are intelligent and hard working people that know, in the big picture, you have are well being in your heart.
