Mans is quoted: "But the idea of setting different standards for environmental protection in different parts of the state is alarming." Just gotta love their screaming hypocrisy. What in the heck do they think their beloved Highlands Act does??? The Highlands Act treats Highlands farmers differently than all others in the State, stripping their net worths, decimating their property values, asking them to bear a $6 billion cost so that the greenie urbanists can have free water which they flush out to sea. The DEP has never been a rational environmental protector, it is filled with maddeningly plodding bureaucrats who know how only to say "no", who overreach their authority, who stifle and strangle and bleed to death any that apply for sensible solutions. 300 foot buffers are so excessive only NJ has them, but not for long, thank heavens. Wolfe and his ilk should know that their days of socialistic dogma and vicious attacks on landowners are over!!
