Not only does hearing my kids (6, 10, 13) use the word "sucks" (and other more colorful terms) make me cringe, even worse, I find myself getting more annoyed when I hear it used on TV shows on Nickelodeon. On one hand, i'm all for free speech; on the other, is this the language my kids should be hearing? I guess if they can hear me say those words, then it isn't so bad on TV.
