Sounds like the ole slogan " a sin to stop a greater sin is not a sin at all." Never mind that the lessor evil is still evil. To suggest that economics is not political, that there is no symbiotic relationship between values and economic life is naive. Moreover, those who stand for everything stand for nothing. But, who cares? - Let's waterboard Lonegan. Who'll tell?
