margin of error

That FDU poll has a margin of error of 3% - so does a 52% approval rating really mean that people approve of the governor, when in reality it might very well be 49%? Additionally, these polls often have a wider margin of error than pollsters state.

He's beating Obamas' raitings. I think those number are excellent. Getting a Republican elected statewide in NJ is almost as impossible as getting a Republican elected in Massachusetts. Can you
see the momentum growing? I can.
