money owed to pension

We listem to our new governor about how we need to reform the pension system and to me it is a good idea. The Problem that I have is that we are going after the puplic employees, but what about the towns who are suppose to pay into the pension that haven't for last 5 or 6 years. Our ex governor Christie Whitman borrowed money from our pension, not sure of the exact amount but, i do know it was a very large sum and they never paid that back are we going to make these towns pay what they owe and will we ever get back what was borrowed By C. Whitman. I agree that raising the contribution to 9% or even 9.5% is a good idea but, making us pay more into our health care this is somethng that is totally obsurred. We are not the answer to the problems in this state. The answer to the problems in this state or any other are the political people, the politicians in this stated who continue to waste money and then borrow from Peter to pay Paul then when there short from where the took from then they borrow again from Peter to pay Paul which becomes a vicious cycle that doesn't end. The first thing that happens after is the politicians blame the people( public ) then they wanna raise our tax's or do something like what you are doing now attacking our pension. Once again trying to make the people pay for the failures of our govermnet. I believe that getting the state government and local politicians in order would be the first step in getting our state on track. Taking responsiblity for your own failures and stop blame us the people and forcing us to pay for what our goverment and local politicians have created, deep debt, deep debt and more deeper debt.
