Who should be helped? The poor people. The rich people have enough money and most of their problems are caused by irresponsible purchases like extra large houses and vehicles for a 3 person family and foolish shopping sprees on thousand dollar handbags and ultra expensive trinkets to decorate their homes. Boo hoo, the rich people are having trouble paying taxes because they just picked up a brand new 600,000 dollar yacht and have to pay 900 a week to rent space in the bay. Are you kidding me? Poor people, meanwhile, are trying to stretch out a bag of beans and rice to last the week while struggling with minimum wage to pay their rent and maybe electricity or gas this month (never all utilities paid at the same time, because rent is rarely under $400-do the math, minimum wage and usually only 30 hours a week because only managers get 40 hours a week). Please, get off your high horse. Let's see how your life turns out after you graduate, and daddy decides to stop giving you an allowence. Newsflash:community college is hard to get in to in towns with excellent public education systems, and it is expensive unless you are rich. For me, paying $360 per credit hour is expensive, considering I need 120 credits to graduate. get over your dad.

Going to a community college does not mean you don't have to work hard to succeed! There are many that do not have the privilege of being son's of doctors, and as a result can not afford to go to big, fancy, expensive schools. I started out going to community college, and had to work very very hard to get to where I am now (Columbia University!). What Obama is doing is not enabling the poor, but rather helping them see other options. "Obama hates successful people"-that sounds like you're in high school. "All he does is help the poor"-please explain to me who she should be helping? The rich?. I would rather have a president that faces the reality of the situation than one who hides behind an iron curtain. Many are quick to blame him for our economic mess, but how quickly we forget how bad the situation was under his predecessor! I am a Democrat, and I will be the first to say that their overspending doesn't help, but I have a feeling this man would be criticized no matter what he did.
