Obama's team will now be regarded more seriously by Israeli leadership. Who knows? Maybe that meshugge Netanyahu will get a vote of no confidence in the Knesset, and a snap election is called, then hopefully somebody more rational than Bibi can take his place: Peres, Lipni, or Barak come to mind. I can try to be an optimist. Peace is possible, as long as that schmuck is out of office.
