Spiteful Christie

No rational person, who really wants to make things better, would be delaying the disbursement of that federal money. Christie is no dummy. He is also very rational. However he is not going to alleviate "the pain" by accepting " Obama's Money" and hiring back NJEA teachers. This is a stubborn, stubborn person who would rather hurt the children then give in and accept that money. In a matter of a couple of weeks he has either lost or delayed $ 676 million for the schools of this State. It Is time to look at the Governor and ask " what kind of person is this?"

Progress Is Progressive
This is what you get when you vote republican't. Corruption, cronyism, all efforts made to enrich the wealthy insiders at the expense of The People mentioned in the Constitution. The republicons have always wanted to dismantle the public education system, feeling that an uneducated working class is a more compliant working class. They view education itself as a privilege, not a right. These glaring attempts to damage the public education system are despicable. I'm sure Christie also wants to pursue private school vouchers, one of the most common and mendacious ways to bleed public education funding is to shift it away from public institutions to the tony private schools of the rich. Republicons also see busting one of the last somewhat decent unions left, the teacher's union as part of the process. When the unions are finally gone, then Fair Labor Law provisions like overtime after 8 hours /.40 hours, break / lunch periods can be attacked and discarded. Bush already tried to subvert these Fair Labor Law provisions for our policemen, firemen, and nurses, in case your memory isn't so good, so don't think for a moment that this has been dropped from the republicon agenda.
