they ought to inform people of what their guns are worth before they agree to sell them to the government. And further, the government ought to give those guns to the poor as a form of wellfare, not destroy them. I understand some people just don't want to own a firearm, and it would be better for them to not have it lying around their home. But seriously, just because those people have a phobia doesn't mean the government should take advantage of them.
