Dear Nonsense,
I know this article and your comments are old but I couldn't leave this without responding to the disgusting reply left by the coward who couldn't even leave their name. You truly have no idea of what you speak about. These people are doing a wonderful thing for both their bio and adopted children. You should be ashamed of yourself for saying such horrific things. As a person who was raised in a household where my parents had 4 bio children and when we became teenagers became foster parents as well. Never did having the other children around take anything away from my siblings and I. In fact I believe it gave my siblings and I a wonderful childhood. We learned empathy and compassion and to care for others. Something you obviously never learned. In fact I was the one who begged my parents to get involved and had been begging my parents since I could talk to adopt. My biosiblings and I are 4 children in 4 years with me being the oldest. Not only do I believe we had a wonderfuly childhood because of the experience, I am in the process of becoming a foster parent myself with my husband. We are so excited to get to become foster parents. You have no right making the accusations you made when you have no experience on the topic. Everyone has the right to an opinion. But, not when it is not based on any facts. Bravo to the Doctor and his family. It is a wonderful thing that they do. Although, I am sure as most people with EXPERIENCE on the topic will tell you they get as much out of it as the childen do.
